Haryana Board 2024: The chairman of the Board of School Education Haryana, Ved Parkash Yadav, said at a news conference that the district headquarters in Nuh will host the Haryana Board re-examination 2024 of the cancelled topics in three exam centres. The exam is scheduled for April 16.
There have been reports of rampant cheating at a school in the Nuh district of Haryana during the Class 10 board test. People were seen scaling the school walls in a video that went viral on social media to deliver notes to kids sitting for board examinations. The Aarohi Model Higher Secondary School in Revasan and the Hindu Higher Secondary School in Nuh-05 (B-2) centre have cancelled their Class 10 English exams, according to V P Yadav.
He added that the NDA, Baded, Firozpur Jhirka, examination centre's Class 12 English core subject and the NDA, Udaka, examination centre's history exam had been cancelled. On April 16, 2024, the aforementioned courses will be reexamined at Hindu University's Nuh-05 (B-2) examination centre.
Haryana Board 2024: Steps to combat cheating
According to the chairman, there has been a noticeable decrease in instances of cheating since the board took a zero-tolerance approach to it. He emphasized how the board kept an eye out for cheating by installing CCTV cameras, command centres, and control rooms at board headquarters. To successfully prevent cheating, the board also introduced question sheets that included hidden security elements like alphanumeric and QR codes.
Haryana Board 2024: Re-exam timings
He stated that the affected school heads have also been notified by phone and email in this respect. The exams are scheduled to take place from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Applicants must arrive at the centre at 12:00, or 30 minutes before the exam. It will be forbidden for candidates to access the centre after this.
Haryana Board 2024: What to carry at re-exam centre
To the exam site, students must bring their school ID and Aadhar card. Students must show up for the exam dressed for school. Books, study aids, notes, and electronic devices are not permitted for students to bring inside the exam room.
