The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 10 and 12 results on May 13, 2025. Students who are not satisfied with their results will soon have the opportunity to apply for verification and re-evaluation through the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.
Before applying for re-evaluation, students must first submit a request for verification of marks. This step is essential, as it allows students to obtain a photocopy of their evaluated answer sheet from the board.
After receiving the photocopy of the answer book, students can thoroughly review it for any discrepancies. If they find any errors or have concerns regarding the evaluation, they may proceed to apply for re-evaluation by paying the required fee.
Evaluation Highlights:
Only trained CBSE teachers evaluate the answer books under CBSE supervision.
Detailed discussions are held on marking schemes before starting the evaluation.
Quality checks and cross-verification are conducted daily.
Only 20 answer books are evaluated by a teacher in an 8-hour shift.
A separate team verifies the checked answer books to ensure accuracy.

Process Overview:
Step 1: Request Scanned Copy of Answer Book
Students must first apply to get a scanned copy of their evaluated answer book(s).
After reviewing, if any discrepancy is found, they may proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Apply for Verification / Re-evaluation
Only those who applied for scanned copies are eligible.

Only one application per candidate per stage will be accepted.

Important Notes:
Processing charges to be paid online only via Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.
RTI-based requests for answer books will be entertained separately under RTI Act, but re-evaluation or verification is not permitted under RTI.
