CBSE Board Exam 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notification, extending the deadlines for conducting practical examinations, projects, internal assessments, and internal grading for 2024. This extension comes in response to numerous requests from schools seeking additional time to upload marks. Therefore, the board has granted a last opportunity for the completion of practical exams, projects, internal assessments, and internal grading. Candidates can check the CBSE notification at cbse.gov.in.
According to the notification, schools have been granted till March 31, 2024, to upload the marks for their practical examinations, projects, internal assessments, and internal grading, etc.
"It has come to notice that some of the schools have not yet completed the activities mentioned above within the scheduled time frame despite repeated reminders for the same and are now requesting the Board to provide the facility for uploading of marks for practical examinations / project / internal assessment / internal grade 2024," reads the notification.
"Keeping in view the requests received from the schools who have not yet completed the above-mentioned activities to provide them the opportunity to complete the same, it has been decided that these schools will be given one last opportunity for the conduct of practical examinations / project / internal assessment / internal grade 2024 and uploading of marks thereof on the portal latest by 31st of March 2024," the board added.
This year, the board has released a complete list of subjects along with their respective marks distribution to help schools smoothly to conduct practical exams for classes 10th and 12th. According to the marking scheme, each subject will have a maximum allocation of 100 marks, distributed among theory, practical, project, and internal assessment components. CBSE Class 10, 12 practical exams were started on January 1, 2024.
