The thought behind launching this online course on business accounting process is to develop the skillset of students and professionals looking for a career in finance and accounting.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Madras has launched a new online course on the business accounting process. In partnership with Bengaluru-based ArthaVidhya; the institute’s Digital Skills Academy to offer this program which aims to improvise skills of students and professionals looking for a career in finance and accounting.
The course will be completely online, interactive and totally job-oriented. The applicants will gain the knowledge about the concept of virtual office, embedded in ‘Interactive Learning Management System’ (ILMS) which is Artificial Intelligence-based. The online application process is available at https://skillsacademy.iitm.ac.in./
According to the Head of Digital Skills Academy, K Mangala Sunder; the course is designed to provide students a simulated environment (virtual office), giving the students a real-life replica of actual work environment throughout the programme. ‘The artificial intelligence platform will be providing the students a virtual corporate environment having various financial transactions in real-time. This will help the students to get an observational learning equivalent to about 90 to 120 days of actual corporate working experience and will make candidates ready for the job.
