NEET MDS 2024: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will close online registration for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024 today, March 11. Candidates can register for the exam by visiting NBEMS's official website, nbe.edu.in. Candidates who completed their internships between April 1 and June 30 of this year are eligible to enrol for the NEET MDS 2024.
According to the schedule, the NBEMS will conduct the NEET MDS on March 18, 2024, with admit cards given on March 15. It will be conducted on a computer-based platform at numerous examination centres across India. The exam is an eligibility and ranking-based entrance exam for students applying to various dentistry or MDS programmes. The results will be available by April 18.
Candidates may apply for the exam if they have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from any institute registered with the State Dental Council, either provisionally or permanently. Furthermore, a one-year rotational internship at an approved/recognized dentistry college is necessary.
NEET MDS 2024: Application fees
The NEET MDS exam fees have been decreased for all categories compared to the previous year. General and OBC applicants would have to pay an examination fee of Rs 3500. While SC, ST, and PwD aspirants must pay Rs 2500.
“Applications forms once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Fee shall neither be carried forward to a future date nor refunded under any circumstances. Any claim for refund, adjustment or carrying forward of Application fee will not be entertained,” the official notice had stated earlier.
How to apply for NEET MDS 2024?
To apply for the NEET MDS 2024, candidates have to follow the mentioned below steps:-
Step 1: Visit the official website of NBEMS at nbe.edu.in.
Step 2: First, click on the 'NEET MDS' tab and then on the 'Application link.'
Step 3: After this a new page will open where candidates have to click on the new registration link and complete the registration process to generate a user ID and password.
Step 4: Then, login into the account, fill out the application form and then upload the necessary documents.
Step 5: Now, choose the exam city, pay the required fee and then submit the form.
Step 6: Download the NEET MDS 2024 application form with the transaction ID and take a printout of the same for further reference.
