JEE Advanced 2024 Preparation Tips

PUBLISH DATE 17th April 2024

JEE Advanced Exam 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology Madras will hold the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2024 on May 26. The JEE Advanced 2024 registration procedure will start on April 27, 2024. Applicants can fill out the application form on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. With only 40 days until JEE advanced 2024, aspirants must ace their preparation by learning tricks and being aware of frequent mistakes to prevent scoring well.

JEE Advanced comprises two obligatory papers, each with equal weightage. The JEE advanced 2024 exam consists of a mix of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), numerical answer type (NAT), and matching type questions. The papers include three subjects: physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Each paper has a duration of three hours.

Applicants can prevent typical blunders by getting expert counsel, conducting top-tier interviews, and communicating with senior faculty members. Aspirants are urged to focus on basics and keep a consistent pace.

JEE Advanced Exam 2024: What mistakes have to avoid while preparing for this examination

Here are several preparation pitfalls that applicants can prevent to make the best use of their time and perform well in the JEE Advanced 2024 examination.

1. Not practicing enough

The only way to develop students' problem-solving abilities is to practice consistently. Solve as many issues as possible using the previous year's question papers and practice exams.

2. Not to study NCERT books

NCERT books are frequently overlooked. These books serve as foundational study materials, following the official syllabus. In past years, several direct questions in JEE Advanced were found in NCERT textbooks.

3. Not taking help from others

If candidates are having difficulty understanding a certain subject or topic, do not be afraid to seek assistance. There are numerous options accessible, including teachers, tutors, and internet forums.

4. Avoiding health

Students' health is crucial for their education. Eat well, get enough sleep, and exercise often.

5. Lack of confidence

Overconfidence in answering complex problems and ignoring negative indicators is a key error. Smart question choice, thorough study of probable responses, and strategic skipping when doubtful can all help students avoid losing marks.
