BITSAT Session 1 Result 2024: The Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS) will release the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) 2024 results for session 1 today, June 4. Applicants who took the entrance exam will be able to view and obtain the BITSAT 2024 results by visiting the official website of BITSAT at bitsadmission.com.
To get the BITSAT 2024 scorecard, candidates must provide login credentials such as their application number, password, and security captcha code. Successful applicants will be able to register for the BITSAT 2024 counselling process. Session I of BITSAT 2024 took place from May 20 to May 24. However, one additional BITSAT exam slot was provided for absentees with good causes on May 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This result will be used for admission to integrated degree programmes such as BE, BPharm, and MSc at BITS campuses in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. Students who pass the exam will be qualified for admission to a variety of programs, based on the cut-offs that will be released later.
BITSAT Session 1 Result 2024: Last year's BE cut-offs
The BITSAT cut-off for engineering degrees increased across all campuses last year. The computer science engineering program has the highest BITSAT cut-off score (331), followed by electronics and communication engineering with a score of 296, respectively.
The exam was administered for a total of 390 points throughout the last two years. The cut-off scores for engineering programs offered at the Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses in the last two years were the following:

BITSAT Session 1 Result 2024: What tie-breaking policy?
In the event of a tie, where two or more applicants receive identical scores on the BITSAT 2024 exam, the authorities will use the following tie-breaking policy:
- Applicants with higher marks in mathematics and biology will obtain a higher ranking.
- If a tie remains, candidates with stronger physics scores will be ranked higher.
- If a tie persists, candidates with stronger chemistry scores will be ranked higher.
- If a tie persists despite the aforementioned processes, the PCB and PCM marks acquired in Class 12 will be used to settle the tie.
BITS Pilani session 2 registration
BITS Pilani session 2 registration has commenced, and the deadline for submitting the application form is June 8. BITSAT 2024 session II is set to occur from June 24 to 28. Additionally, the enrollment form for BITS 2024 direct admissions (for board toppers) will be available until June 25. Candidates who take both sessions of the BITSAT 2024 will have their highest score considered for admission.
