UGC NET Exam Analysis 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the UGC NET Exam 2024 today, on June 18, 2024. The exam is taking place in two shifts. The first shift has been completed successfully, and initial feedback suggests that candidates found the exam moderate in difficulty level.
The UGC NET Exam 2024 is being conducted in two shifts: the morning shift is scheduled from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the evening shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. Each session of the UGC NET exam has a duration of 3 hours.
The UGC NET exam will be conducted for 83 subjects across 541 exam centres. Paper 1 consists of 50 questions, with each question carrying two marks, making a total of 100 marks. Candidates are evaluated on teaching and research aptitude, reasoning ability, reading comprehension, and general awareness. Those who appeared in Shift 1 found the paper moderately difficult. The aptitude section posed some challenges, but students managed to attempt and complete the paper.
Shift 2 will begin at 3 PM and conclude at 6 PM. Paper 2 comprises 100 questions, each carrying 2 marks, amounting to a total of 200 marks. This paper focuses on the subject chosen by the candidate.
