Announcement of Institute Level Spot Round ON 16^th November 2022 to 20^th November 2022 for B. Tech, B. Planning candidates at COEP Technological University, Pune for the Academic Year 2022-23 Sequence of activities for Spot round admission 16^th November 2022 to 20^th November 2022

Admission Schedule for All India Merit number candidates

If seats remain vacant due to betterment or cancellation, the additional spot round will be conducted on 20^th November 2022 from 10.00 am onwards for MS and All India candidates. Admission round stages will be conducted as per State CET Cell Information Brochure. Vacancy Position for additional spot round will be displayed on 19^th November 2022 at 7.00 PM

NOTE:

1. For CIWGC, PIO/OCI/FN, NRI candidates spot round will be conducted on 20^th November 2022 at 11.00 AM.
2. For B.Planning candidates spot round will be conducted on 20^th November 2022 at 2.00 PM.

For B. Tech. and B. Planning Candidates

Instructions:

1. The admissions to the first year of undergraduate courses at COEP Technological University, Pune for the Academic Year 2022-23 will be conducted by Direct Counseling (Spot) Round against vacant seats available after CAP-III round of CET CELL for the admission for the Year 2022-23.
2. These admissions will be made strictly in the order of inter-se merit amongst the candidates who report in person for admission to COEP Technological University, Pune against the seats available in various branches at that moment.
3. The candidate will lose the claim to participate in the admission counseling process if he/she fails to produce all the applicable original documents at the time of document verification during the counseling round. In case a candidate has taken admission elsewhere, he/she will be required to submit/produce the original fee receipt. The candidate should submit an undertaking stating that he/she will submit original documents within four working days from the date of reporting.
4. After payment of admission processing fee (as applicable to B. Tech, B. Planning and CIWGC/ OCI/PIO/FN/NRI Candidates) and successful verification of the relevant original documents, further eligible candidates will be called for seat allotment by counseling as per inter-se merit.
5. At the time of seat allotment by counseling, the candidate is required to submit “Requisition for Seat Allotment.”  
6. The seat allotment will be carried out based on the vacancy status at that point. Accordingly, the seat allotted to a candidate would then be deleted from the pool of vacant seats displayed on the auditorium screen. Candidates are advised to be present in the Counseling hall and wait for their turn as per inter-se merit. If a candidate is found unavailable when called, the next candidate on the merit rank would be called for allotment of seat and the absent candidate may miss his/her chance of merit-based seat allotment.
7. Suppose a candidate of higher merit reports late during the process of counseling. In that case, the candidate may be considered for allotment of a seat available at that point of time for a particular category to which he/she belongs. Such a candidate shall be given preference for admission over the candidates with lower rank present at that moment. The decision of the admission center in-charge shall be final and binding.
8. Confirmation of the allotted seat to the candidate is subject to the submission of the requisite Institute admission fees in Online through SBI Collect / Demand Draft in favor of “Director, College of Engineering Pune” Payable at Pune. Applicable original documents and anti-ragging form immediately in online mode. This candidate confirms the admission through the acceptance of the allotted seat at COEP Technological University, Pune.
9. If a candidate fails to pay the requisite institute admission fee Online through SBI Collect / Demand Draft in favor of “Director, College of Engineering Pune” Payable at Pune at the time of seat allotment, such candidature will be withdrawn and the seat will be allotted to the next candidate on the merit list. Payment through cash / cheque will not be accepted under any circumstances.
