First Year Engineering BE/BTech Admission Process 2022: 

Detailed information about the first-year engineering BE/BTech admission process started on 21/09/2022.

Online Registration and Document Uploading:  New registration is to be done by visiting the website https://cetcell.mahacet.org/.  https://fe2022.mahacet.org/StaticPages/HomePage

First check the details of CET by entering the application number, roll number and date of birth and then complete the registration.

Students who have not given CET but have given JEE also have to register and pay the registration fee. The fee for Open Category is 800/-. CET registered students do not have to pay fees. Registration is to be done from 21/09/2022 to 04/10/2022 (4 pm)
Along with this, the documents which are uploaded at the time of registration should be verified by physically visiting any nearby FC centre.
After this, a Provisional Merit List will be published, in which you have to check your name and other details. If there are any errors then they have to visit any FC centre till 5 PM during Grievance Period i.e. 08/10/2022 to 10/10/2022.
Then the final merit list will be published, after which, Option forms are to be filled online. While filling the option form fill the option according to your  State Rank, University Rank, Caste Rank, etc.
If the first number of colleges is allotted among them, it will be Auto Freezed and you will have to pay the Seat Acceptance fee to take admission there. But if you are allotted a college beyond your first option, (from the second option & above), you can still Freeze this college & branch, from your login. Then you have to pay the Seat Acceptance fee and you will not be able to participate in any next round.

To participate in the next round:

You can participate in this round if you have not been allotted any college in the first round. Also, the students who got a college allotted in round one can also participate in this round by selecting the Not Freeze option from your login and paying the Seat Acceptance fee. This is called Betterment.

While doing this, in the options form of the next round, in addition to the first round, you should enter only those colleges to which you will and want to get admission. And option form should not be kept the same as your first round option form. Because of the college, you automatically go to the last choice. If you don't get a higher choice college above it, then it stays as your final allotment, but if you get any higher choice, then the previous allotted college automatically gets cancelled and is allowed to the next student.
 If you fill the option form in this way, you will get sure admission.
