The Education Ministry is inviting applications for the '2024 Commonwealth Master's scholarship tenable in the United Kingdom.' These scholarships are available for full-time master's degree courses at UK universities, starting in September or October 2024. The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC), UK, offers these scholarships. According to the official release from the ministry, the deadline for submitting online applications is October 17, 2023. Interested students need to submit their applications through the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission's online application system (OAS) as well as on the Education Ministry's Sakshat portal.
The scholarship covers six developmental themes:
Eligibility:
"The CSC would not normally fund a second UK master's degree. If you are applying for a second UK master's degree, you will need to justify why you wish to undertake this study," an official statement from the ministry reads.
It further states that the MBA programme is not covered under this scholarship.
Nominations
Post a commentAccording to the education ministry, 39 nominations will be made to the CSC for the scholarship. "Nomination does not mean selection for the scholarship. The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission will make a decision to select students for this scholarship," it says. The deadline for submitting nominations is December 12, 2023.
