NTA UGC NET 2024: The University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) June session exam dates for 2024 have been released by the National Testing Agency. The UGC NET June 2024 cycle will take place at multiple test locations around the nation from August 21 to September 4, according to the updated timetable.
The UGC NET 2024 exam will now be administered online through computer-based testing (CBT), replacing the previous offline pen-and-paper format, according to an announcement made by the organization.
Moreover, the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) will take place from July 25 to July 27. Both of these tests are required for applicants pursuing lectureships and research fellowships at Indian universities and research institutes.
AIAPGET 2024 exam dates
The organization has also verified that on July 6, the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2024 will go place on schedule. On July 10, the NCET 2024 exam will take place.
UGC NET 2024 exam cancellation
The UGC NET June session exam was held in two shifts on June 18, but was cancelled the following day. This examination was supposed to conduct in over 317 cities for over 9 lakh candidates. After obtaining information regarding the purported paper leak generated by the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C) within the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Education cancelled the exam, stating that its "integrity may have been compromised".
Following a CBI probe, it was discovered that the exam papers were leaked on June 16, two days before the originally scheduled exam. The breach came through the darknet and other encrypted social media platforms, and the paper was sold for more than Rs 500,000.
