NMC 2024-25

A list of universities scheduled to launch new postgraduate courses (PG) for the 2024–2025 academic year has been released by the National Medical Commission (NMC). According to the official announcement, 37 schools will add more PG medical seats for the next academic year, and over 172 colleges will begin postgraduate courses.

The NMC went on to state that 1,077 applications for online postgraduate medical courses were sent by email to the relevant medical colleges and institutions in response to the Medical Assessment and Rating Board's (MARB) public announcements dated March 11, 12, 15, 21, and 22, 2024. This covered applications 238, 214, 202, 218 and 205 on the corresponding dates stated. In due course, notifications on the remaining online applications will be provided.

"It is informed that communications in respect of 209 more online applications (for starting of New PG Medical courses and Increase of seats in PG medical courses for the academic year 2024-25) have been sent through the email IDs (as mentioned in online applications) to the medical institutions, colleges concerned for information and necessary action by them within the stipulated timeline," reads the official notice.
