GATE 2025 Brochure:  The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee issued the official brochure for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Candidates will be able to submit their applications and access the GATE 2025 brochure at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

The GATE 2025 application process will start on August 24. The deadline to apply without late fees will be September 26, and the final date to apply with late fees will be October 7.

The GATE 2025 exam will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16. The exam will be conducted in two sessions forenoon and afternoon. The forenoon session will take place from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the afternoon session will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. IIT Roorkee will be hosting the GATE 2025 exam.

According to the official brochure, the GATE 2025 admit card will be available for download from January 2, and it can only be accessed through the official GATE 2025 website no printed copies will be sent to candidates. During the online application process, candidates must provide one valid government photo ID from the following list: Aadhaar-UID (preferred), Aadhaar Virtual ID, Government-issued ID, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driver’s License. On the day of the exam, candidates must bring both their original ID proof and the GATE 2025 admit card.

GATE 2025: Application Fee

All applicants, including international students, must pay Rs 1800 during the standard online registration period. Female candidates, as well as those from SC, ST, and PwD categories, are required to pay Rs 900.

GATE 2025: Exam Pattern

The GATE 2025 examination will feature 30 test papers. Applicants are allowed to choose either one or two exam papers from the provided list. If selecting two exam papers, candidates need to submit only one application form. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted in an objective format, with all questions available in English.

GATE 2025 will include three types of questions: multiple-choice (MCQ), multiple-select (MSQ), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions. In MCQs, only one of the four options is correct. MSQs may have one or more correct answers out of the four choices. For NAT questions, candidates must enter their answers using a virtual keypad.
