CUET UG 2024 Re-Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024 re-exam today, July 19. As per the NTA, 1,000 applicants will take the CUET 2024 re-test in computer-based mode.
NTA has investigated all concerns submitted by applicants up to June 30 about the CUET UG 2024 exam, as well as complaints written to rescuetug@nta.ac.in between July 7 and July 9. Based on these complaints, the decision to hold the CUET re-test 2024 on July 19 has been made.
The NTA held the CUET-UG 2024 exam in a hybrid style (online and offline) on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29 at numerous examination centres in 379 cities, including 26 overseas sites. Around 13.48 lakh applicants sat for this exam. The CUET answer key was revealed on July 7, and applicants could file objections until July 9. The CUET 2024 outcome date has yet to be revealed.
CUET UG 2024 Re-Exam: What to carry in the examination hall?
Applicants are recommended to arrive at their respective test centres well in advance and bring their CUET 2024 admit card, transparent water bottle, passport-size photo, and a valid photo ID such as an Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID card, or driver's license for verification. The NTA said, “If any one is missing from photo, signature and barcode then kindly re-download because without a photo, signature and barcode your admit card is invalid.”
CUET UG 2024 Re-Exam: Guidelines
Applicants can review the CUET 2024 exam day rules below.
- Make sure your most current passport-sized, colour photograph is firmly attached to the admit card.
- Bring your CUET 2024 admit card and a valid original photo ID to the test centre. Passports, driver's licenses, voter IDs, PAN cards, and Aadhar cards are all acceptable forms of identity.
- Applicants who arrive late at the exam centre will be denied access after the gates are locked, regardless of the cause.
- Items prohibited include cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches with built-in calculators, memory, and any electronic or smart device.
- Aspirants are obliged to remain sitting throughout the exam. Re-entering the test hall after submitting the test is not authorized.
- Any attempt at fraud or malpractice detected at any level will result in the applicant's rejection and possible legal action.
