BPSC Recruitment 2024: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has started the application process for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor in Super Specialty Departments in State Medical Colleges under the Health Department, Govt. of Bihar. Candidates will be able to apply till January 28, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at bpsc.bih.nic.in.
This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 220 posts of Assistant Professor. Candidates are advised to read the BPSC recruitment notification before filling out the application form.
BPSC Recruitment 2024: Application Fee
When submitting online applications, candidates are obligated to pay an application fee along with a Biometric fee. As per the official notice, a biometric fee of Rs 200 is required for each reservation category. The application fees differ across categories:
- General candidates: Rs. 100
- Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates from Bihar state: Rs. 25
- Reserved and unreserved category female candidates, permanent residents of Bihar state: Rs. 25
- Handicapped candidates: Rs. 25
- All other candidates: Rs. 100.
BPSC Recruitment 2024: Age Limit
For unreserved male candidates, the maximum age should be 45 years; for unreserved female candidates, the maximum age should be 45 years; for backward class candidates and extremely backward class candidates (male and female), the maximum age should be 45 years; for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, the upper age limit should be 50 years; and for doctors employed in the Bihar State Health Services cadre, the age limit will be 50 years.
