UPSC ESE Main 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the exam dates for the Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2024. Those who have cleared the UPSC ESE prelims exam conducted in February 2024 can check and download the UPSC ESE Main 2024 schedule at upsc.gov.in.
According to the schedule, the UPSC ESE Main 2024 exam will be held on June 23, 2024. The main exam will be conducted in two shifts, including the first shift, which will start from 9 am to 12 noon, and the second shift, which will start from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
During the morning session, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering disciplines will conduct Discipline Specific Paper (Paper-I), which is conventional. This session will last for 3 hours and carry 300 marks. In the afternoon session, these disciplines will continue with Discipline Specific Paper (Paper-II), also conventional, lasting for 3 hours and carrying 300 marks.
The UPSC ESE results of the prelims examination were announced on March 28, 2024. The exam took place on February 18, 2024. Candidates who have successfully cleared the preliminary examination are eligible to participate in the main examinations.
The UPSC ESE main admit card will be released 1 week before the commencement of Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2024. This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 167 vacant posts in the organisation. Candidates are advised to keep checking the UPSC official website for the latest updates.
