APSC Combined Competitive Preliminary Exam 2023: The Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination 2023 will be held by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) to screen candidates for the Main Examination. This information was announced in an official announcement.
According to the APSC statement, the primary test is anticipated to take place in June or July of this year, while the preliminary examination is tentatively scheduled for March 17 as announced by the commission. However, the precise date will be disclosed when it is appropriate.
Applicants may submit their applications online between January 17 at 12 PM and February 6 at 5 PM. Payment must be made before February 8 at 5 PM.
APSC Combined Competitive Preliminary Exam 2023: Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant has to be a citizen of India.
- The candidate's age should be between 21 and 38 years old (the highest age restriction varies depending on the category). The candidates' maximum age will be determined just by looking at their matriculation or HSLC certificate, which must be issued by an approved board or council.
- The candidate must be a graduate of one of the universities in India that have been established by legislation passed by the Central or State Legislatures, as well as other educational institutions that have been established by legislation passed by Parliament, be deemed universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act of 1956, or have another qualification that the government may deem equivalent.
- A candidate must be proficient in Assamese, as well as any other official or associate official language of the state, as well as any of the state's indigenous languages.
- An applicant has to register with an Assamese district employment office.
- A candidate is required to be a native of Assam.
- On the day that their applications are submitted, candidates must meet the requirements.
- Candidates who are ex-servicemen must turn in their discharge book and Ex-Servicemen Identity Card, both of which were provided by the Zila Sainik Welfare Office.
- When applying for the preliminary examination, candidates must provide a declaration in Form-A addressing "The Small Family Norms."
APSC Combined Competitive Preliminary Exam 2023: Centre name
The centres for the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination are Amingaon, Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Biswanath Chariali, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Diphu, Goalpara, Golaghat, Guwahati, Haflong, Hamren, Hatsingimari, Hojal, Jorhat. Kajalgaon, Karimganj, Kokrajhar, Majuli, Mangaldol, Morigaon, Mushalpur, Nagaon, Nalbari, North Lakhimpur, Silchar, Sivasagar, Sonari, Tezpur, Tinsukia and Udalguri.
APSC Combined Competitive Preliminary Exam 2023: Instructions
- The APSC recommended candidates in the announcement to make sure they satisfy all the requirements by thoroughly reading the qualifying criteria before applying. It further said that acceptance to all exam phases will only be temporary and dependent on meeting qualifying requirements. The commission stated that the e-Admit card's issuing does not indicate that a candidate has been approved. The APSC stated that after an applicant is selected for the interview round, only then are the eligibility requirements regarding original papers verified.
- The commission said that candidates' candidacy for examination would be revoked if it is discovered during verification at any point before or during the preliminary examination, main examination, and personality test (interview) that they do not meet any of the eligibility requirements.
- Candidates should carefully consider about their choice of centre for the Examination when submitting the Application Form. A candidate who shows up at a location other than the one listed by the Commission on the admission card will not be permitted to take the test.
- In addition, applicants who are currently employed by the government or in public enterprises are required to ensure that, at the time of the interview, they have notified their head of office or department in writing that they want to apply for the examination. When the Commission get a notification from their employer denying the applicants permission to take the examination, their applications may be returned and subsequently revoked, the Commission has been notified.
