SSC MTS 2024 Notification: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is anticipated to announce the Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination (known as SSC MTS 2024) soon. According to the commission's examination timetable, the SSC MTS announcement was scheduled for May 7, however, it has been postponed. The SSC MTS tier 1 exam is tentatively set for July–August.
SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria
The below-mentioned information is based on last year's examination:-
Age limit: Candidates should be between the ages of 18 and 25, or MTS and Havaldar in the CBN (Department of Revenue). The age range for Havaldar at CIBC (Department of Revenue and a few MTS positions) is 18-27 years. In both circumstances, reserved category candidates will have their upper age limit relaxed.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must complete the Class 10 or Matriculation examination, or its equivalent, from a recognized board on or before the deadline.
SSC MTS Application Fees
The previous year's SSC MTS application cost was ₹100. Women candidates, as well as candidates from the SC, ST, PWBD, and Ex-servicemen (ESM) categories who are entitled to reservation, were excluded from paying the cost.
SSC MTS Selection Process
The selection process includes a computer-based examination (CBE) and a physical efficiency test (PET/PST). PET and PST are only for the position of Havaldar.
The computer-based test will be held in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
The CBE will consist of two sessions, both of which must be completed. Candidates who do not attempt any sessions will be disqualified.
SSC MTS CBE cut-offs
After the computer-based test, candidates will be chosen for the physical test rounds depending on their performance in the second session of the examination. However, session 2 marks will only be considered if they qualified in session 1.
The minimum qualifying marks for sessions 1 and 2 are:
Unreserved: 30 per cent
OBC, EWS: 25 per cent
All other categories: 20 per cent
