CUET UG 2025 Result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) Friday declared the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) results. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check and download the CUET results at cuet.nta.nic.in. CUET UG 2025 was held between May 13 and June 4 over 19 days in 35 total shifts.
Instead of announcing toppers, NTA, as a first, has listed the application numbers scoring the highest aggregate NTA score in five subjects. The top five aggregate NTA scores in five subjects this year are 1225.93, followed by 1210.10, 1205.17, 1203.40 and 1200.12.
The results of all the candidates are in the process of being shared with the universities, NTA in the result statement said adding that candidates are advised to be in touch with the respective universities and institutions for further details.
As per data shared by the NTA, only one candidate has scored 100 percentile in four out of the five opted subjects. A total of 17 candidates have scored 100 percentile in three subjects out of their opted subjects. The number of students scoring 100 percentile in two and one subject are 150 and 2,679, respectively.
CUET UG 2025 was conducted in 37 subjects — 13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects, one General Aptitude Test. Candidates could choose up to a maximum of five subjects, including languages and the General Aptitude Test. 322 unique question papers and 1,059 total question papers, including 13 languages (total 57,940 questions), were administered this year. Last year, the number of unique question papers was only 99.
NTA had released the CUET UG final answer keys on July 1. The provisional CUET UG answer keys were issued on June 17 and NTA also allowed the candidates to raise grievances against them by June 20.
As many as 13,54,699 applicants registered for the exam this year. Of them, 6,47,934 students were female, while 7,06,760 were male candidates and five were third gender. Of the total candidates registering, as many as 10,71,735 appeared — 5,23,988 female candidates, 5,47,744 male candidates and three third gender students. Last year, a total of 13,47,618 students registered for CUET UG. Of them, as many as 7.17 lakh were male candidates, 6.30 lakh were female candidates and seven were transgender students.
CUET UG 2025 was held in 300 cities including 15 cities outside India. Last year, CUET UG was conducted in 379 cities including 26 cities outside India.
Last year, as many as 283 universities admitted students to their UG programmes on the basis of CUET UG scores. This time, however, the number of universities using CUET UG scores to admit students to its UG programmes has dropped to 239 .
