UP govt releases academic calendar 2020-21 for Universities and Colleges

The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday released the academic calendar 2020-21 for the state universities and their associated colleges. Accordingly, classes for all students enrolled in various universities of the state, except fresh admissions (first year students) to begin from July 6.

Universities have been asked to finish admissions by August 14. Classes of first year students to commence from August 17.

Considering the Covid-19 crisis, the government has also de-centralised the evaluation work. Universities have been directed to opt for de-centralisation for correction of answer copies taking in stock the available resources.

UP’s higher education department also suggested universities to increase the honorarium for evaluation from existing Rs 40,000 to Rs 60,000.

Announcement of results	June 15
