The Osmania University (OU) postponed its undergraduate exams that were scheduled to be held on October 18-19 in view of strike by the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation employees which has been going on for the past 13 days.
According to the notice issued by OU, three key papers of UG courses have been postponed. However, exams that are scheduled to be held post October 21 will be held as per the time-table. The university has not announced revised dates for the examinations that were cancelled.
In addition to this, the university announced that all the classes scheduled stand suspended till October 20 and that classes will be resumed from October 21. Along with extending holidays due to the transport strike, the Telangana government directed all educational institutions to work on all second Saturdays till April 2020 to make up for the time lost due to extended Dasara holidays.
