Cambridge International has cancelled the May-June series examinations of IGCSE (grade 10), AS (grade 11) and A level (grade 12) exam across the country and outside in view of coronavirus outbreak.
In the latest notification available on the official website, the Cambridge board said, "We have taken the difficult decision not to run our international examinations in the May-June series in any country."
As per Cambridge Board, only 10-15 per cent of the schools have May-June exams.
The board has decided to give the final grade and certificate to students based on internal progression tests and the board will guide the schools on the process. Cambridge schools will calculate the average of the entire year to assign final grades to students.
The board has also cancelled O level, Cambridge AICE (Advanced International Certificate of Education) Diploma and Cambridge Pre-U exams.
