WBJEE JELET 2024: The Joint Entrance for Lateral Entry Test (JELET) 2024 registration date has been extended by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) to March 18. The timeframe for editing the WBJEE JELET 2024 application form will be open from March 20 to March 22, 2024.
Those who have not yet applied can do so by visiting wbjeeb.nic.in, the official website, to complete the WBJEE JELET application form. Previously, March 11 was the deadline for applications. The official announcement states that the proposed date for the WBJEE JELET 2024 exam is June 29. From June 21 to June 29, candidates can download their WBJEE JELET 2024 admit card from the official website.
Candidates who wish to be admitted to the second year of undergraduate programs in engineering, technology, or pharmacy must take the WBJEEB JELET 2024 exam. For the 2024–2025 academic year, this covers a range of state-run universities, government colleges, and self-financing technical and technological institutes.
WBJEE JELET 2024: Application Fees
Male candidates from the general category must pay an application fee of Rs 500 to sit for the WBJEE JELET 2024 exam. An application fee of Rs 400 will be required from both male and female candidates in the general category and reserved categories, such as scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes (ST), other backward classes (OBC-A), OBC-B, and economically weaker sections (EWS). The application price for JELET 2024 is Rs 300, and it must be paid by female candidates from reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS), as well as third-gender applicants.
WBJEE JELET 2024: Exam pattern
The WBJEE JELET is an offline, paper-based test. There are two categories for the exam. There are 80 questions on the Category 1 exam and 20 questions on the Category 2 exam. According to the marking scheme, in the Category 1 exam, a mark is given for each correct answer, and a mark is subtracted for each incorrect response. For the Category 2 exam, every right answer earns you two marks. Examiners will have two hours in total to finish the test.
