State Bank of India (SBI) has started the application process for Retired Bank Officer posts.

SBI RBO Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
FLC Counsellors: Proficiency in the local language (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding), as well as a working knowledge of computers, are essential qualifications for counsellors who will be providing guidance to the public on matters concerning financial institutions. Additionally, retired officers interested in this role should possess a Smart Mobile Phone and be knowledgeable in computer usage.
FLC Directors: For FLC Directors, it is expected that they provide counseling services to the public on various matters pertaining to financial institutions. In order to fulfill this role, proficiency in the local language, including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding, is essential. Additionally, having a working knowledge of computers is crucial. Retired officers interested in this position should also possess a Smart Mobile Phone and be knowledgeable about computer usage.

SBI RBO Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
The selection process for this position involves the shortlisting of candidates followed by an interview round. The interview carries a weightage of 100 marks. The specific qualifying marks for the interview will be determined by the Bank. The final selection is based on the merit list, which is prepared by arranging the candidates' scores obtained in the interview in descending order. However, it is important to note that candidates must also score the minimum qualifying marks to be considered for the merit list. The Bank will communicate the interview details through an intimation/call letter, which will be sent via email or uploaded on the Bank's website.
