NEET UG 2025: NTA Announces Exam Centres In 35 Cities In Bihar Including Patna, Registration Open Till March 7; Details
NEET UG 2025 Update: NEET UG 2025 will be conducted in 552 cities across India, with examination centres also set up in 14 cities abroad. The exam will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Question papers will be available in 13 languages.
NEET UG Exam 2025: The application process for NEET UG 2025 is now open for admission to graduate-level courses in both government and private medical colleges across the country and state of Bihar. The application link will be available on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, till March 7. The NEET UG 2025 exam is scheduled for May 4.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a list of cities where examination centres will be set up. In Bihar, 35 cities, including Patna, will host these centres. Apart from Patna, other cities include Araria, Ara, Arwal, Aurangabad, Banka, Begusarai, West Champaran (Bettiah), Kaimur (Bhabua), Bhagalpur, Buxar, Darbhanga, Gopalganj, Jamui, Jehanabad, Katihar, Khagaria, Lakhisarai, Madhepura, East Champaran (Motihari), Munger, Muzaffarpur, Nawada, Purnia, Samastipur, Rohtas (Sasaram), Sheikhpura, Siwan, Supaul, Gaya, Vaishali (Hajipur), Madhubani, Nalanda, Sitamarhi, and Vaishali.
Applicants will need to select one of these cities as their exam centre while completing the application.
NEET UG 2025 Language Options
NEET UG 2025 will be conducted in 552 cities across India, with examination centres also set up in 14 cities abroad. The exam will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Question papers will be available in 13 languages.
Candidates will receive the question paper in the language they selected during the application process. While all candidates will have access to the question paper in English, regional language papers will only be available in the respective states.
Assistant Professor Dr Ashok Kumar Jha of Patna Science College said that there will be 180 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. There will be 45 questions each from Physics and Chemistry and 45 questions each from Botany and Zoology. NTN has clarified that a candidate will apply only once. Detailed information has been provided in the information bulletin.
Prof Santosh Kumar emphasised that with the exam fast approaching, it is crucial to boost confidence by solving one set of practice questions every day. He recommended practicing with previous years' question papers and adhering to all exam precautions while doing so. These question papers are also available on the NTA website. Stay positive, maintain a consistent practice routine, and review the list of important formulas based on the content from NCERT books.
