Karnataka TET Exam 2020: Download Hall Ticket

Office of Commissioner, Public Education Department, Bangalore on Friday released Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test (KARTET) admit card on its official website.

Candidates, who have applied for the examination, can now download their hall ticket from the official website http://www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in/.

The Karnataka TET exam will be held on October 4, 2020. The exam will be conducted in 604 centres across the state.

As many as 74,977 candidates have applied for paper I and 1,69,716 candidates will take the paper II.

It may be recalled that UPSC prelims paper is also scheduled for the same day. However, there will be no change in the exam date, informed K G Jagadeesha, commissioner, department of public instruction.

Covid-19 positive candidates can appear for the exam

  1. * Covid-19 positive candidates will be allowed to appear for the exam only at the District Covid Care Centre.
  2. * They should use the ambulance assigned to travel to the entre. Covid-19 positive candidates must inform the concerned Deputy Director (Administration) two days in advance about their situation if they wish to appear for the exam.
  3. * The candidate must submit his/her medical certificate obtained from the medical officer certifying that he/she is in a condition to appear for the examination.
  4. * Covid positive candidates must always wear an N-95 mask.

Other general instructions:

  1. * Candidate can download the Test Admission Card online from September 25. They must download it from the website of the Department of Public Instruction, in advance, and verify the address of the test centre allotted to him/her. They are advised to verify the address at least a day in advance to avoid any confusion.
  2. * For details, candidates can call the Nodal Officer of KARTET - 2019 in the district where they are appearing for the exam.
  3. * The candidates must reach the examination centre one hour prior to the start of each session.
  4. * Candidates must wear a face mask and as soon as they enter the test centre, they will undergo a health checkup.
  5. * Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination room 30 minutes before the examination begins.
  6. * After entering the room, the candidates will be required to sit on the spot with their registration number and follow all the instructions.
  7. * Candidates are advised to pay attention to the details on their OMR sheets and make sure their personal details match on the application. Their signature must match the signature of the online application.
  8. * Along with this, the identity of the left thumb should be clearly pressed.
  9. * Candidates can start writing the test in the prescribed time period (Paper 1 starts at 9.30 am & Paper 2 at 2 pm).
  10. * Candidates won’t be allowed in the examination centre after the start of the paper.

1) Visit the official website of Karnataka TET.

2) The link for downloading the Karnataka TET Admit Card 2020 will be available on the homepage.

3) Click on the Karnataka TET Admit Card 2020 link and enter your login credentials.

4) On successful submission Karnataka TET Admit Card 2020 will be downloaded.

5) Take a printout for future use.
