CTET 2024 January Exam: Candidates will not be allowed to carry any eatables inside the centre (Express photo/ file)
CTET 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the the CTET 2024 exam tomorrow, January 21. Candidates will have to mandatorily carry the CTET admit card to the exam centre. The CTET 2024 admit card link is available at the official website – ctet.nic.in.
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in 2024 will be held for two papers — paper 1 (for Class 1 to 5) and paper 2 (for Class 6 to 8).
The candidates will have to report at the CTET examination centre at 7:30 am for paper 2 and at 12 noon for paper 1. CTET paper 2 will start at 9:30 am and paper 1 at 2 pm. Candidates reporting after the exam start time will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
CTET exam: Items not allowed
a) Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry or pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, eraser, calculator, log table, electronic pen, scanner, cardboard etc.
b) Any communication devices like mobile phones, bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band etc.
c) Any watch, wrist watch, wallet, goggles, handbags, gold, artificial ornaments etc.
d) Any other item which could be used for unfair means and for hiding communication devices or gadgets like cameras, bluetooth devices etc.
The candidates will have to bring their own ball point pen (black or blue) of good quality. Use of pencil is strictly prohibited. OMR sheets filled with pencils will be rejected, the CTET January 2024 exam information brochure said.
