The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, has announced the date of the CTET 2023 exam. It will be conducted on August 20, 2023, in offline mode.
CTET is conducted for candidates who want to become teachers for classes I–VIII in the school. In total, there will be two papers in the CTET exam, i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2.
A notice regarding the exam has been posted on the official website.
The notice reads, "The candidates registered for the 17th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) are hereby informed that the CTET examination will now be conducted in offline mode, i.e., pen-paper (OMR) based on 20.08.2023 (SUNDAY) all over India in the specified cities."
The registration for CTET began on April 27 and was concluded on May 26, 2023. The last date to pay the application fee was also May 26, 2023.

In Paper 1, the students will have to answer a total of 150 MCQs. Besides paper 1, in paper 2 as well, a total of 150 MCQ questions will be asked to the candidates appearing for the exam.
