JoSAA Counselling 2025 Registration Begins Today

PUBLISH DATE 3rd June 2025

The JoSAA 2025 counselling will be conducted for students seeking admission to several BTech programmes and courses offered by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other government-funded technical institutes.

The candidates must note down that all the personal or academic information that is filled during the registration process is correct otherwise if any error is found later it can lead to the disqualifications of the candidate in the further process.

A total of 1,80,422 candidates appeared for both Papers 1 and 2 of JEE (Advanced) 2025. Devdutta Majhi of IIT Kharagpur zone emerged as All India female topper with CRL 16 as she achieved an impressive 312 out of 360 marks. Rajit Gupta from IIT Delhi zone secured top position in the Common Rank List (CRL) obtaining an impressive mark of 332 out of 360.

Registration and choice filling process will take place from June 3, 2025 to 12, 2025.

Display of Mock Seat Allocation 1 (based on choices filled till June 8) will take place on June 9, 2025.

Display of Mock Seat Allocation 2 (based on choices filled till June 10) will take place on June 11, 2025.

JoSAA Counselling 2025 Begin Today: Check key documents required

Category certificate

Original PwD certificate

Class 10 mark sheet or certificate, Aadhaar card, or birth certificate (as proof of date of birth)

Class 12 mark sheet

Original certificate for candidates with less than 40% disability but having difficulty in writing

Crossed bank cheque copy or image of the passbook showing the bank account details

Passport or citizenship certificate

Medical certificate

OCI certificate or PIO card

Steps to apply for the JoSAA Counselling 2025 online:

Step: 1: The students have to visit the official website of JoSAA at josaa.nic.in to register for the counseling process.

Step: 2: There will be a link for JoSAA Counselling 2025 registration available on the home page.

Step: 3: A new page will open where students will have to enter their registration details.

Step: 4: Once registration is completed, the students have to login to the account.

Step: 5: The candidates have to fill the application form and make the online payment of fee.

Step: 6: Click on submit and your registration for the JoSAA Counselling 2025 is done.

Step: 7: Once registration is done, do not forget to download the page.

Step: 8: Always keep a hard copy of the same for future reference.
