JEE Main Cut-off 2025: How did students perform this year?

This year, a total of 24 students scored a perfect 100 percentile in the JEE Main 2025 examination. Among them, Rajasthan led the tally with seven top scorers, the highest from any single state. Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana followed, each contributing three candidates to the list of perfect scorers. The April 2025 (Session 2) of JEE Main saw 10,61,840 students registering, out of which 9,92,350 candidates appeared for Paper 1.

Among the 24 top scorers in JEE Mains 2025, two were girls—Devdutta Majhi and Sai Manogna Guthikonda. Notably, Sai Manogna Guthikonda, hailing from Andhra Pradesh, had also topped the JEE Main January session and repeated her outstanding performance in April by scoring another 100 percentile. Devdutta Majhi, the West Bengal state topper in Session 1, had earlier scored 99.99921 percentile and has now joined the elite 100 percentile club in Session 2.

With the declaration of JEE Main 2025 results, the next crucial phase for aspirants is the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process, which facilitates admission to premier engineering institutes including the NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. A clear understanding of the counselling schedule, registration process, choice filling, and seat allotment rounds is essential for candidates to make informed decisions and secure admission to their preferred institutions.
