The Institute of Business Management & Research (IBMR) was established in 1984 by the Institute of Science, Poona to meet the growing needs of management education and training. The institute, being recognized by the University of Pune not only provides Post Graduation instruction for carious management courses of the University, but also provides research guidance in the field of managerial areas. Within the last 33 years about 4,500 Students have been passed out with Master’s Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in the field of Management. Most of them are placed and are holding the high ranking administrative positions in different corporate bodies, leading business organizations as well as being entrepreneur having their own industries.

MBA Programme Objectives:

• The MBA programme prepares a student for a career in diverse sectors of the industry domestically and globally.
• The MBA programme facilitates learning in theory and practice of different functional areas of management and equips the students with an integrated approach to various functions of management.
• However, the demand for managerial skills is not limited to the industry. Managerial talent is much sought by the Government Sector, NGOs, non-corporate sector as well.
