UPSC CAPF (AC) examination 2020 notification deferred

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has deferred the release of Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2020 notification due to the Covid-19 lockdown in the country.

The UPSC, in a message posted on its official website, said that it would notify the exam details later.

The UPSC CAPF (AC) examination 2020 notification was to be released today, i.e. on April 22, 2020 and the preliminary exam was scheduled to be held on August 9, 2020.

"CAPF (ACs) Exam-2020, scheduled to be notified on April 22, 2020, stands deferred till further notice," said the notice posted on the official website.

The UPSC conducts exam for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF): Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
