The Reserve Bank of India conducted 1st slot of the preliminary round of RBI Grade B 2019 today, i.e. on November 9, 2019, from 9 am to 11 am. After talking to the aspirants, it can be concluded that the overall difficulty level of the exam was “Easy to Moderate”.

Overall Exam Level of RBI Grade B 2019 Phase 1
The exam level of RBI Grade B 2019 Phase 1 was Easy to Moderate. The four sections in the RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam were General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. The sectional analysis of RBI Grade B Phase-1 exam has been provided below.
Analysis of the General Awareness Section
The General Awareness section carried the maximum weightage in the exam. As per the review of the candidates, it can be said that the level of this section was Moderate. Most of the questions were asked from banking and recent current affairs. Static GK also constituted an important part of this section. Additionally, some questions were based on budget and economic issues.
Analysis of the Reasoning Section
The level of this section was difficult. There were 3 sets of puzzles, containing a total of 15 questions in the exam.

Analysis of the Quantitative Aptitude Section
The level of the Quantitative Aptitude section was Easy. Questions of Data Interpretation dominated this section and as many as 9 numbers of questions of DI were asked. Miscellaneous questions on Arithmetic were also present in the paper.

Analysis of the English Language Section
Considering the overall level of the exam, this section was the Easy-Moderate out of all the sections. The highlight of this section was the Reading Comprehension. There were 2 passages, which were based on the theme of Banishing poverty through the banking and the Effect of Climate Change on Bees. Other questions were asked from the topics of Error Correction, Sentence Improvement, and Cloze Test.
