Kerala KEAM 2020 postponed

Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has postponed the Kerala Engineering/Pharmacy entrance examinations (KEAM 2020) due to Covid-19 epidemic and the lock down.

Earlier, the KEAM 2020 exams were scheduled to be held on April 20 and 21, 2020, which have now been postponed to an undetermined date.

An information in this regard available on the official website says "Due to the Covid-19 epidemic and the lock down, Kerala Engineering/Pharmacy entrance examinations scheduled to be held on 20th and 21st April, 2020 have been postponed. New dates will be announced later."

New dates for KEAM 2020 will be announced soon on the official website. The official notification reads "As per the Govt orders read above, Admission to the Professional Degree Courses (KEAM-2020) Kerala examination was scheduled to be conducted on 20.04.2020 & 21.04.2020. But in view of the nationwide lock down imposed to check the widespread outbreak of 'COVID-19' pandemic, the examination cannot be conducted as per the scheduled date."

The notification further instructed that "In the above circumstances, the Government here by postpone the KEAM 2020 examination scheduled to be conducted on 20.04.2020 & 21.04.2020 to another date which will be decided later."
