The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to release the joint entrance exam (JEE) mains admit card today i.e., Friday, December 6, 2019, online on the official website of the exam - jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The JEE (Main) first attempt test will be held in the month of January 2020 from 6 to 11. The exam will be conducted in two shifts - morning from 9:30 am to 12:300 pm and in the second shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Candidates, who have applied for the JEE January 2020 exam, can download their admit card from the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in. The candidates can also download other exam related material like sample paper, syllabus, previous years'question paper etc. from the official website of the exam.
The First JEE (Main)-2020 will be conducted in January 2020 between 6th January (Monday) and 11th January (Saturday) 2020 and the Second JEE (Main)-2020 will be conducted between 3rd April (Friday) and 9th April (Thursday) 2020.
The Examinations will be held in “Computer Based Test” (CBT) Mode only, except that the Drawing Test for B.Arch. will be held in “Pen & Paper” (offline) mode.
The candidates aspiring to take admission to the undergraduate programs at IITs for the year 2020 will also have to appear in B. E. /B. Tech. Paper of JEE (Main)-2020. Based on the performance in the B.E./B. Tech. of JEE (Main)-2020, number of top candidates as per the requirement for JEE (Advanced) 2020 will be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced)-2020.Admission to IITs will be based on category -wise All India Rank (AIR) in JEE(Advanced),subject to the conditions as would be mentioned in JEE(Advanced)-2020 Website.
