It is a common trend amongst candidates to try to memorize everything that can be asked during the examination. Studying selectively implies not leaving some portions of the syllabus but concentrating on some key topics. CLAT aspirants need to understand that this examination does not require them to know and answer everything. Identify the key focus areas and concentrate on them.
Develop a habit of making notes of whatever you study. It not only helps you in memorizing better, but it also comes handy when you are doing a quick revision. Earmark or highlight important information in your study material.
General awareness and English are among the sections in the written examination which demand you to read newspapers daily especially the opinion and editorial page. Candidates are required to be abreast of the current affairs as well as key legal developments.
