ICAI CA may exams 2024 postponed; new schedule soon at the website.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will soon release the revised exam schedule for the CA May exams. Once released, the revised schedule will be available at the official website.

“The Election Commission today have announced schedule of Election to the 18th Lok Sabha in the month of April – June 2024. It is observed that the aforementioned Lok Sabha Election, which will be held in 7 phases, will commence from 19th April 2024 and conclude on 1st June 2024. Counting for all phases will be done on 4th June 2024.

“Accordingly, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India will issue the detailed revised schedule of May 2024 Examinations on 19th March 2024 (Evening),” ICAI said in an official notice.

As per the official calendar released earlier, the foundation course exam will be conducted on June 20, 22, 24 and 26. The intermediate group 1 exams will be conducted on May 3, 5 and 7, and the group 2 will be held on May 9, 11 and 13. The final exam will be held on May 2, 4 and 6 for group 1, and the group 2 exam will be conducted on May 8, 10 and 12.

However, the dates may not be revised.

The registration forms for Main & PQC exams, and foundation exam May 2024 were available at the official website between February 2 and February 23.

This time, the May / June 2024 examinations will also be held at eight overseas examination centres, namely Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimpu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait and Muscat. The exam commencement timing at Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat centres will be 12:30 pm i.e., Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat local time corresponding / equivalent to 2 pm (IST). The examination commencement timing at Bahrain, Doha, and Kuwait Centre will be 11:30 am i.e., Bahrain / Doha / Kuwait local time corresponding / equivalent to 2 pm (IST).

The examination commencement timing at four Kathmandu (Nepal) centre will be 2:15 pm Nepal local time corresponding / equivalent to 2 pm (IST). The examination commencement timing at Thimpu (Bhutan) centre will be 2:30 pm Bhutan local time corresponding / equivalent to 2 pm (IST).
