Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chemical TechnologyThe Ministry of Chemical & Natural Gas (MOP&NG), Government of India set up The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chemical Technology (RGICT) at Jais, Dist. Amethi, Uttar Pradesh through an Act of Parliament (“Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chemical Technology Act 2007"). 

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of ChemicalTechnology (RGICT), Amethi, invites applications from the Indian citizens for the admission in 4-year B. Tech. programme in the following disciplines for the academic session 2019-20.

RGICT, Jais, Amethi offers 4-year full-time B. Tech. Programme on the following disciplines:

• B. Tech. in Petroleum Engineering (Current Strength: 60)
• B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering (Current Strength: 60)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Admission will be based on JEE (Advanced) - 2019 Rank List*. The candidate should have 60% minimum aggregate marks (55% in case of SC/ST/PWD) in class 12^th or equivalent.

* RGIPT does not offer preparatory courses hence preparatory rank will not be considered.

* Candidates having color blindness are not eligible for B. Tech. in Petroleum Engineering, however, they may apply for Chemical Engineering.

Selection Process:

• The RGICT B.Tech Selection Process 2019 will be done on the basis of applicant scores in JEE Advance.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Personal Interview (PI) round conducted by the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chemical Technology.
• The Final Selection will be done on the basis of the composite score of Entrance Exam, graduation marks & PI round of the applicant.
