The Doctoral Program leading towards the award of the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) provides the students an opportunity for a career in Academia, Industry, Research & Development establishments along with other possibilities. A strong foundation and original contribution to knowledge in a chosen area of interest is expected from Ph.D. graduates of DYPIU.

Broadly, faculty members at DYPIU are engaged in interdisciplinary research activities in the areas of Engineering and Technology, Biosciences and Liberal Arts. Some of the focus areas of research are Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Space Technology (Small Satellites and Drones), Healthcare, Agriculture, Disability, Women and Child Development and related areas (Interdisciplinary research with meaningful impact). The academic requirements for the PhD program are as follows:

Eligibility

School of Engineering and Technology

Course Eligibility

• B. Tech. (Computer Science and Engineering)

• Passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with one of the Chemistry/Biothechnology/ Boiology / Technical Vocational Subject.
• Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together
• Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)

School of Design

Course Eligibility

• B. Des. - Graphic Design | User Experience Design (UX)

• Passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra state government rules) and English as a passing subject.
• Valid score in National Level or State Level Entrance Exam such as CUCET, ATMA UG Exam or any other equivalent UG entrance exam.

School of Commerce and Management

Course Eligibility

• B. Com - Banking & Finance | Accountancy, Audit and Taxation

• Passed (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognized board with minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra state government rules) or equivalent grade.

  Valid score of National/ State Level or other equivalent UG Entrance examinations like ATMA UG, MH-CET UG, etc.

• B.B.A. - International Business | Supply Chain Management | Event Management

• Passed (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognized board with minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra state government rules) or equivalent grade.

  Valid score of National/ State Level or other equivalent UG Entrance examinations like ATMA UG, MH-CET UG, etc.

• MBA (Digital Agri-Business)

• Passed graduate degree in Agriculture and Agricultural Allied Sciences with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra State Government rules) from recognized University. Candidate should have adequate computer skill.

  Must have valid score in CET, MAT, CMAT, XAT, CAT.

School of Media and Journalism

Course Eligibility

• B.A. - JMC: Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communication

• Passed 10 + 2 or equivalent with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra state government rules ) and English as a passing subject
• Valid score in National Level or State Level Entrance Exam such as CUCET , ATMA UG Exam or any other equivalent UG Entrance Exam

School of Computer Applications

Course Eligibility

• Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Mobile Application and Web Technology | Cloud and System Administration

• Passed (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognized board with minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidate as per Maharashtra state government rules) or equivalent grade.

  Valid score of National/ State Level or other equivalent UG Entrance examinations like ATMA UG, MH-CET UG, etc.

School of Applied Sciences

Course Eligibility

• B. Sc. (Biotechnology)
• Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 45 % marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) and Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics/Computer Science as a passing subject.

School of Pharmacy

Course Eligibility

• Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma)
• Passed 12th Std. Examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subject along with one of the Mathematics / Biology ( Botany and Zoology
