Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) was established in year 1960. Since its advent, it has been a prestigious institute of higher learning, producing meritorious students with excellent career growth and universal recognition.

The mesmerizing all-embracing campus is of 650 acres, encompassed by boundary wall and ring road. The infrastructure of campus consists of administrative and academic buildings, workshops, community centre and residential area for accommodation of students and staff. At the Bachelor’s level, we have B.Tech. Programs in Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering. The students for these programs are selected through AIEEE and usually they are the top students from various places in the country. We have M.Tech programs in all the Engineering Branches, mentioned above. The M. Tech. Students are chosen through an all India examination, known as GATE. Entrance to MBA & M.Des is given through JMET and CEED respectively. We have indeed a vibrant PhD program in all the above academic areas.

MANIT has demonstrated its excellence in research in many areas. To cite few: It has been developing its own satellite under a project named as AZAD.
