    The Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur (IIM Sirmaur) is a public business school in the Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is one of the twenty Indian Institutes of Management—a group of autonomous public institutes of management education and research in India. The institute has started its operations under the guidance and mentorship of the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, one of the premier management institutes in the country. The first batch of the Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Management at IIM Sirmaur started on 4th September, 2015.

    The temporary campus of IIM Sirmaur has been setup at the Himachal Institute of Technology, Paonta Sahib, Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh. The Government of Himachal Pradesh has allotted over 200 acres of land in Dhaula Kuan near Nahan town for the permanent campus of the institute.

    Changes when compared to last year

    • The minimum overall percentile requirement for SC/ST applicants has been reduced by 5 percentile points.
    • The weightage for CAT during the final selection stage has been reduced from 80 to 50 percent.
    • The weightage for 12 marks has been increased from 4 to 10 percent.
    • The weightage for graduation marks has been increased from 6 to 10 percent.
    • The weightage for work ex has been increased from 4 to 20 percent.
    • The weightage for gender diversity has been increased from 2 to 5 percent.
    • The weightage for academic diversity has been increased from 4 to 5 percent.

    The admission process comprises following stages

    • Shortlisting candidates.
    • Final Selection of candidates

    During the first stage, initially a pool of candidates who satisfy the following minimum CAT 2016 percentile are considered.
