Punjab Police Recruitment 2024: Punjab Police has released a recruitment notification for the post of Constable in the District and Armed Cadre of Punjab Police 2024. The application process will start on March 14, and the deadline to apply will be April 4, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at punjabpolice.gov.in.

This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 1746 vacant seats in constable posts, of which 970 seats are for District Cadre and 776 vacant seats are for Armed Cadre. Candidates are advised to read the Punjab Police Recruitment 2024 notification carefully.

Punjab Police Recruitment 2024: Application Fees

To be considered for these positions, applicants must submit the application fee as specified in the notification. The fees vary according to the category: General candidates are required to pay Rs 1150, Ex-Servicemen of Punjab and Linear Descendants of ESM need to pay Rs 500, while SC/ST/BC candidates of all states and OBC candidates of Punjab must pay Rs 650. Similarly, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) applicants are also required to pay Rs 650.

Punjab Police Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The selection process will consist of three stages of testing, starting with Computer-Based Tests (CBT) 1 and 2, followed by a physical measurement test. Thereafter, document verification will be conducted. After the document verification round, candidates will be required to undergo a medical test.
