NTA allows application form correction for UGC NET and ICAR Exam 2020

National Testing Agency on Monday made the facility for correction in particulars in the application forms operational on its official website.

Candidates who have applied for the IGNOU PhD and OPENMAT MBA entrance exam, ICAR AIEEA, JNUEE, UGC NET, CSIR UGC NET, and AIAPGET can make changes in their particulars in their application forms through the official portal of respective exams. The last date to make corrections in the particulars is July 15, 2020.

An official notification issued by NTA in this regards reads: “In view of the hardships faced by the aspirants in making corrections in the particulars in the Online Application Form due to COVID-19 epidemic, it is brought to the notice of all the candidates of the following Examinations that the facility for correction in the particulars in the Online Application Form is made operational from 06/07/2020 to 15/07/2020. The candidates are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars and make necessary corrections wherever required.”

Notice further instructed that “The NTA will make all-out effort to allot Centre City of examination to the candidates in order of the choices now being opted by them in their Application Form, subject to the availability of capacity in the desired city. However, due to administrative reasons, a different city may be allotted, and the decision of the NTA regarding allotment of Centre City shall be final.”

In case, any additional fee payment is required depending on the changes made in the form, candidates can pay the requisite (additional) fee, through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM. The final changes/update in the online application form will be reflected only after the payment.
