What steps need to be followed to apply for JIPMER 2022 Application Form?

The applicant will get JIPMER 2022 Application Form through online mode. The application process will be completed by following the below-mentioned steps.

  • Visit the official website of the institute i.e https://www.jipmer.edu.in/Browse through all the information on the website
  • Click on the examination link
  • Click on the registration form
  • Enter a valid email ID and a mobile number for registration
  • Check and click on the login link sent by the authority
  • Enter user ID and Password to log in
  • After login fill up the application form with all the required details
  • Select category
  • Submit to proceed
  • Upload scanned photograph and signature
  • Click on the button “Preview” to recheck
  • Mark the box “I Agree”
  • Submit the application
  • Go to the payment option
  • Pay the application fee by Net Banking or Credit Card/Debit Card
  • Take the print out of it.

  • Photograph: There must be the name of the candidate and the date on the photograph otherwise it will not be considered
  • Signature: The size of the signature will be 80mm Width X 35mm Height

Admit Card 2021

How to download JIPMER 2022 Admit Card/ Hall Ticket ?

JIPMER 2022 Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website. To download the admit card an applicant needs to enter the application number along with user ID and password. The admit card consists of many information like the name of the candidate, roll number, date of birth, name and address of the exam centre, exam date, etc.

Some steps to download the admit card are given below.

  • Visit the official website of the institute
  • Click on “Examination”
  • Check out “JIPMER MBBS ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2022”
  • Go to the option “Hall Ticket”
  • Enter User ID and Password to log in
  • Check the admit card displayed on the screen
  • Download it and also take a print out of it

 

Every candidate appearing for JIPMER to take admission in MBBS or BDS course must know the admission criteria of JIPMER 2022. However, the exam has now been merged with NEET so candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria prescribed by NTA.

What are the requirements for JIPMER 2021 Eligibility?

The following criteria need to be fulfilled by the candidates to get admission for their selected course in JIPMER 2021. 

Nationality

This the first and the foremost criteria that must be known to the aspirant applying for the courses.

  • The candidate must be an Indian Citizen. 
  • The candidates who are NRI or Non-Resident Indian are need to be registered under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955. It is also required to present or show their registration proof as OCI or Overseas Citizen of India while submitting the application form of JIPMER 2022. 
  • The candidates from NRI or OCI category will have to submit the eligibility certificate issued by The Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. 
  • In the matter of the candidates of Foreign Nationals, it is needed to grant the permission from the Medical Council of India.

Age

This is also an important criterion that should be followed by every applicant seeking for admission into JIPMER 2021.

  • The aspirant is eligible to complete the admission process when they are at the age of 17 minimum
  • The candidate who belongs to reserved category such as SC/ST/OBC etc is not allowed to get any relaxation.
  • The institute does not offer any age relaxation for both general and reserved candidates

Academic Qualification

This is the most important criteria that must be followed by every candidate who wants to pursue the course for JIPMER 2022. 

  • The candidate needs to have passed their 10+2 from a recognised board or any other higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination successfully with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Applicants are needed to qualify their final exam with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology in science stream.
  • Candidates who belong to general category should have secured a minimum 50% marks in aggregate and the applicant who belongs to a reserved category like OBC, SC, ST, OPH must secure minimum 40% marks in aggregate in their exam. 
  • For the applicant who are from general and OPH category and have got 45% of marks in aggregate with the subjects Physics, Chemistry Biology/Biotechnology, JIPMER 2021 Admission Process is open to them.

Other Criteria 

  • Apart from the above-mentioned criteria the candidate is going to appear for JIPMER 2021 Exam should have followed the below mentioned criteria as well.
  • The applicant who has appeared for the final year exam in 10+2 in the year of 2022 and waiting for the result to come can apply for the course.
  • The candidates who are going to appear for the final year exam in March or April in 2022 are also eligible to apply for the course.
  •  An applicant must follow all the above-mentioned criteria for JIPMER 2022 Exam.

JIPMER MBBS 2022 Exam Pattern

All the details related to JIPMER exam pattern are given below:

  • Mode of the Exam: NEET 2022 examination will be conducted on 17th July 2022 through offline mode.
  • Type of Questions: Objective type questions will be asked in the examination.
  • Number of Questions: Section A will consist of 35 questions & section B will have 15 questions. However out of 15 questions candidates can attempt 10 questions.
  • Duration: Duration of the examination will be 3 hours and 20 minutes.
  • Total Marks: Question paper will be of total 720 marks.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct response 4 marks will be awarded.
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for the incorrect answer.
