About Madhya Pradesh All India Dental & Medical Admission Test

MP DMAT (Madhya Pradesh Dental/Medical Admission Test) is an entrance exam conducted by Association of Private Dental and Medical Colleges (APDMC) of Madhya Pradesh. MP DMAT is conducted to provide admissions for UG level programmes in medicine and dentistry in the colleges/institutes across Madhya Pradesh.

Test Pattern:
The MP DMAT test paper comprises of 4 sections with 200 objective type questions to be answered within 3 hours (180 minutes). Each section (Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology) comprises 50 questions. There is no negative marking for any wrong responses given by the candidate.

Application Process

Application forms for entrance examination are available at selected branches of State Bank of India on cash payment.
Application forms are also available at all participating colleges/association office on payment through cash/ demand draft in favor of APDMC payable at Bhopal.
Application forms can also be obtained from the association office/participating colleges by post by remitting a demand draft.
In case the application form has been downloaded from website it shall be submitted along with demand draft drawn in favour of APDMC, payable at Bhopal.

Eligibility

For admission to MBBS/BDS Courses: Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination of 10+2 from Board of Secondary Education M.P. or CBSE having passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects individually and have secured at least minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined together and must have passed in English also or Those who have passed any equivalent or higher examination with the aforesaid subjects from any other recognized Board, University with the percentage of marks as mentioned above or Any other qualification recognized by the Govt. of India/Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India as recognized qualification for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses.
For admission to BPT/B.Sc. Nursing/Other Allied Para Medical Courses: Candidates who have passed the qualifying Examination of 10+2 from Board Secondary Education M.P. or C.B.S.E. having passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject individually are eligible for admission. For admission to B.Sc. Nursing Courses candidate must have passed in English also. (OR) Those who have passed any equivalent or higher examination with above said subjects from any other recognized Board/ University. (OR) Any other qualification recognized by relevant Council of India as a recognized qualification for admission to the above courses.
Aspiring candidates must have attained the age of 17 years on 31st December of the particular year of taking admission.

Syllabus:
This Medical Entrance Exam contains general syllabus of relevant subjects as given below from classes 11th and 12th under 10+2 scheme/pre-medical/intermediate science or an equivalent examination of the State Education Board.
