CMC Vellore 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check CMC Vellore eligibility norms from the below:

• Nationality: Indian candidates are eligible to apply.
• Age Limit: Candidates must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31^st December 2022.
• All the applying candidates must note that they should have obtained minimum of marks at 50th percentile in the NEET UG 2022 examination.
• For MBBS, candidates must have passed in all subjects of qualifying exam of Higher Secondary Certificate Exam conducted by TNSB or any other equivalent exam in one and same attempt in subjects. No improvement marks for 12th exam will be considered.
• As per the guidelines of TN Govt & university, for admission into medical courses, candidates must have passed in PCB subjects along with English individually and should have secured minimum of 50% marks taken together in PCB at qualifying exam (40% marks for BC/ MBC/ ST/SC).

CMC Vellore 2022 Exam Pattern

CMC Vellore pattern for admission into MBBS courses will follow NEET. Few details of NEET exam pattern is given below:

• Mode of Paper: The NEET 2022 paper will be held in offline – Pen and paper mode.
• Language: Paper will be available in various languages – English, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Marathi, Odia, Assamese, Telugu, Urdu and Kannada.
• Time Duration: 3 hours will be given to complete the paper.
• Type of Questions: The paper will have objective type of questions.
• Total Marks: The exam will be of total 720 marks.
• Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for each correct answer. For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

CMC Vellore Syllabus

The syllabus of CMC Vellore 2022 will consist the course of 12th class boards recognized by the TN Dr MGR Medical University. The syllabus of the entrance test contains topics from Chemistry, Physics, Biology & General Ability including speed & accuracy and some questions from current topical interest. The syllabus will also vary as per the courses opted by students.

Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Calicut, Chennai, Delhi, Ernakulam, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kottayam, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagercoil, Puducherry, Salem, Thiruvananthapuram, Vellore & Vijayawada.

CMC Vellore Exam Pattern

Here we are providing exam pattern for various courses:

Exam Pattern for UG Courses:

• Mode: It will be conducted via online mode or Computer Based Test (CBT).

• Language: The whole paper will be published in English language only.

• Types of paper: Exam paper will be Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type.

• Numbers of Questions: It will consist of total 60 questions each in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and 120 questions in General Ability.

• Time Duration: The exam duration will be 2 hours (PCB) & 70 minutes (General Ability).

• Marking Scheme: For the correct answer, one mark will be allotted.

• Negative Marking: There is no negative marking.

Exam Pattern for Diploma Courses:

• Mode: It will be conducted via online mode or Computer Based Test (CBT).

• Types of paper: Exam paper will be Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type.

• Numbers of Questions: It will consist of total 90 questions.

• Marking Scheme: For the correct answer, one mark will be allotted.

• Negative Marking: There is no negative marking.

• Time Duration: The exam duration will be 90 minutes.

• Language: The whole paper will be published in English language only.
