Government Polytechnic, Jalna is established in 1985, by the government of Maharashtra, Institute has 13.25 acres of land in possession for its development. Academic , administrative, amenities and hostels (Boys & Girls) are available in the campus itself. At present institute is running following diploma in Engineering of three years duration courses in Regular Shift .This institute aims to develop the eminent engineers who are competent and committed to the highest professional standards in the field of engineering and technology.

This institute has a land of about 13.25 acres. The construction of this institute is in developing phase.Phase I construction consisting of Main building, Class rooms , laboratories, computer lab, canteen etc is completed recently and Phase II consisting of Boys and Girls Hostels, Workshop and Library . Institute is committed to provide a quality education to the students.
