Under the dynamic leadership of Shri. K.B. Awade (Founder Chairman) of DKTE Society, Management of DKTE Society started Yashwantrao Chavan Polytechnic at Sangli Road, Ichalkaranji with Five Disciplines (Branches) Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic & Tele-Communication Engineering & Mechanical Engineering with 60 intake each, in the academic Year 2012-2013.

With the support of DKTE Society’s Textile & Engineering institute, serving about 33 years in teaching field & support of very highly qualified staff members, this Diploma institute was fully established with all Labs as per Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education Norms.
