Vidya Prasarak Mandal, Thane (VPM Thane) is registered charitable trust working in the field of education in thane for the last 75 years. It is enthusiastically and zealously catering to the basic and advanced educational needs nearly 15000 students through its Marathi and English Medium Schools, Arts, Commerce, science and Law Colleges, Polytechnic, Advanced Study Centre, Institute of Management Studies and IT Centre. Eligibility Conditions and requirements for

1. First Year Engineering admission

a) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

b) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together OR Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognised University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);

c) Obtained score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority
